DIY No-Sew Face Mask

COVID-19 has hit our families, our businesses our economy and our communities with a shocking blow. As we navigate these unexpected and uncertain times the best thing we can do is try to be there for one another and provide support where we can.

One of the most frightening things to come of this pandemic is the lack of access to protective equipment for daily use. The CDC is now recommending we wear face coverings when leaving our homes to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We know that masks can be hard to come by and can be daunting to make if you are not handy with a sewing machine. So here's a DIY no-sew option to give you peace of mind should you need to run essential errands.

These masks can be made out of napkins, dishtowels, scarves, bandanas, old t-shirts, or any other cloth you have on hand.

 MATERIALS:

  • Square cloth approximately 20” x 20” (the exact size of a DII napkin)
  • Coffee filter (optional)
  • Rubber bands or hair ties
  • Scissors if you are cutting your own cloth
